    PRE-SEASON SELECTION CAMP (Sat. 28 Aug. to Mon. 7 Sept.): Participation in the Pre-Season Selection Camp is a mandatory component of try-outs. Make sure that you are training hard, bringing down your erg scores, and that you communicate your intentions to try out to your specific program coach.

    Pre season training camp begins Saturday 28th August at Leander boat club
    10:30am - 4:30pm - Comprised of a land based workout followed by a BBQ and rigging.
    On water preseason sessions will run Monday 30th- Friday Sept 3rd and run from 6-8:30am and 6-8:30pm
    Tryouts will be held September 7th-10th time TBA

    ERG STANDARDS: The following are “water-access” standards. Anyone not meeting these basic levels of erg ability may be restricted to erging during the season until these standards are met.

    Water-Access Standards

    Men: 7:00      Lwt. Men: 7:15

    Women: 8:00     Lwt. Women: 8:15

    The following are Varsity Standards. Anyone intending to race as a member of a Varsity crew is expected to have their erg in the regions of this standard. Any rower who makes standard will be automatically considered for selection to a Varsity crew. Anyone not pulling standard may be considered for selection at the discretion of the coaches.

    Varsity Standards

    Men: 6:30      Lwt. Men: 6:45

    Women: 7:30      Lwt. Women: 7:45

    **These numbers will be confirmed when invitations to Pre-Season Selection Camp are sent out this summer
